Kristin went to Louisiana with Amy and Seth to celebrate her Dirty Thirty. She enjoyed ringing in a new decade with good friends, food, drinks, and no idea she was about to meet the love of her life.

After ending up in Louisiana at the same event as Kristin, Dennis noticed Kristin when she took everyone's money at a game of dreidel. After much encouragement from Noah, he decided to buy her a drink for her birthday, which is when they realized their birthdays are a day apart. They then spent the rest of the night talking until the sun came up

After Dennis flew out to Alabama for the weekend, Dennis and Kristin decided that this was worth how hard a long distance relationship would be and decided to go for it.

After a family vacation fell through, Kristin bought a last second plane ticket to Texas to spend the weekend with Dennis. The weekend was spent doing what they both enjoy most. Riding motorcycles. The first "I Love You" was said during this trip.

Kristin flew out to Texas for a weekend trip, and Dennis took her to San Antonio for the weekend. They had an amazing weekend. During this trip, Kristin realized she wanted to marry Dennis one day.

They spent their first Valentine's Day apart, but Dennis found a way to make it incredibly special and surprised Kristin with beautiful flowers at work.

Kristin and Dennis met in the middle to see each other. They spent the weekend with some amazing friends in Mississippi. During this trip, they decided that they didn't care how "fast" things were moving, and they were going to make plans to get Dennis moved to Alabama.

Dennis and his mom, Linda, flew out to Alabama for the weekend. Two days before the trip, Dennis got a job offer in Alabama. This was the sweetest trip because the time apart was finally coming to an end.

MOVING DAY. Kristin flew out to Texas to help Dennis make the trip with the animals to move to Alabama. It was a trip full of challenges and chaos. From start to finish, it took 20 hours of driving time, but it was so worth it because they were finally together.

Life remained chaotic over the next couple of months, but they both were so reassured to realize that this was absolutely the right choice. Being together all the time and enjoying the small moments of life together, made them both so happy.

Life continued to be incredibly busy, but living it together made it so much better. They attended the wedding of The Trahan's, and spent the weekend hearing all their friends say "Y'all are next". All they could do is smile and hope that was true.

Dennis never failed to show his love to Kristin. After loosing her soul dog Ellie in 2023, Kristin always wanted to get an ash ring made as a memorial. Dennis came up with the idea for Ellie to be Kristin's "something blue" on their wedding day and got her the ring she had wanted for so long.

After planning with Kristin's mom and best friend, Dennis asked Kristin to marry him. After asking if he was sure, twice, she said yes!
